I have a 2012 GMC Yukon. It's a great machine, but I can't connect my phone to it via Bluetooth (and use Spotify). This is a feature not present in the car. However, it has a 3.5mm connector :). I bought this device to bypass this limitation. It was very easy to connect. I plugged the 3.5mm jack into the port and the device recognized it immediately. The internal battery was already fully charged. I tried draining it during a long drive (4 hours) and it still worked. Connecting to my iPhone was very easy (go to phone settings, BT and connect). I was very happy to know that it connects to 2 phones. at the same time so my wife can join too (although this is her car, I use it for family trips at weekends). The suction cups on the back of the unit connect very well to the dashboard (I have a wooden panel next to my radio display). I can now stream music, news, etc. straight from my phone which is why I was able to cancel my Sirius XM subscription. It has already paid for itself (in 2 weeks :). I have no problem streaming to my car (BT5.0 is really fast enough). In a wild case it's not clear I love this contraption. It has already saved me money and it works very well.
