Product is out of service as is product warranty
Lock fitted second day after receipt worked fine for about 2 weeks then it started unlocking by itself which turns on the interior lights every time. I work as a Mercedes technician so I know it could be other things, checked the wiring, found no faults. After many tests, they confirmed that the problem was in the latch. The latch has a 30 day warranty, the latch is a Dorman product, the same one sold at Autozone or O Reily's with a 'lifetime' warranty for just $20 more.
