The saddest book I've ever read
I loved the innocent relationship and friendship the two boys had and that should be reflected in the rest of the world today. The book is of course very good and well written, but very sad. It made me cry.
- The book does an excellent job of presenting the horrors of the Holocaust to young readers in an accessible and emotionally meaningful way.
