Review on Energy-Efficient Under Cabinet Lighting: Dimmable Halogen Replacement by Seth Gomez

These LED bulbs come in a pack of 5 and are very well protected before shipping. However, the performance of these lights is still being evaluated. So far the first one I installed has already failed. We now have the 2nd of five employees. I suspect it's the 2nd and the rest will work the same as the first and won't take long. First of all, the description says that these lamps are dimmable. They're dimming my microwave's night light. In my oven, however, they do flicker a bit in my oven's night light mode. They also flash when the microwave door is closed, which leads me to believe that these lights may not be suitable for my oven. I mean, the problem couldn't be the headlights. My oven currently works better with halogen lamps. LED bulbs might one day work just as well as halogens in my oven, but I don't think they are or will ever be needed. A GE microwave is no different from any other GE product. It will likely fail soon and I'll be forced to buy a newer model that already has the LEDs it was designed for. The volts and current of the oven circuit are designed to work with modern LED lamps available today. I expect these lamps will fail in my MW oven after a month. Halogen lights last at least a year or two in my MW oven. Or maybe the person reading this has a suggestion to try. I know I didn't mention what model of MW oven I have as I don't feel like getting up and looking at it right now. I can get it if anyone wants to know. I'll be done with that. Buyer is careful and research to the best of their ability and decide for themselves if these lights will work well in your device. Update 10/15/20 The second LED bulb under my GE Microwave/Convection Oven has failed on my unit. I think the problem is in my device. The LED indicators are on and off when the oven switch is set to the dimmed position. But electrically they don't match my stove. I suspect that when in dim mode, my oven is outputting a voltage and current that is insufficient for the LED. I am now on my third of five in a pack. Updated 10/25/2020. They fit perfectly on my attachment on the bottom of my GE microwave. But they don't fit together electrically. My appliance has an electrical problem and is delivering power when the switch is off and the microwave door is closed. I just exchanged it again. I love the light these bulbs give off, but they don't last more than a month or two in my fixture.
