Simple design, easy to install and easy to use. But there is a lot of space between the pulley and the housing. The rope continues to fall from wheel to axle. You wouldn't call it "pinched" because there's so much room. But when that happens, the rope doesn't slide as easily, so one end falls off faster than the other and my bike can slip off the hooks. At this point, the hook that doesn't slide easily may still be too high for me to reach easily. This wouldn't be as much of a problem with a lower ceiling like the one pictured on the box. The pulleys look like they are bolted to the plates so maybe they could be replaced with better ones.
