confusing size chart

It is very difficult to understand the size grid. I measured my son's foot in inches and compared to the chart it should have been 12. They were too big for him. Returned.

Pros

I wear size 7.5 for women and 5.5 or 6 for children. I have 6 and fit perfectly.

Cons

Slides can be slippery on wet surfaces, which can lead to falls.
