I always order a size M and I've seen other reviews of taller people being taller than the size M ordered so I figured it was good would fit. It fit but was very tight around my waist and had some action with the muffin. If your body type sounds like mine I would order a size up. The length was good, they came down to my ankles. BUT! THESE PANTS HAVE A LITTLE PLASTIC SMELL! There is sometimes a smell of plastic and rubber when you open a new package. It can disappear if you air it.
