Just received this today. After inspection, I award five stars for the overall perceived quality. I bought this because we just had a power outage that lasted about four hours and when I took out the 1000w Duralast inverter I bought from Autozone about three years ago it didn't work. I've only used this POS 5 or 6 times and only low usage items like lights and TVs. There is no big surprise here. Private Label Autozone is just crap. So I did a little research online about the inverters offered by Revain and this thing got great reviews. He also speaks highly of Revain. As soon as I got it I hooked it up to a freshly charged deep cycle boat battery and hooked up my 7.25 inch Dewalt circular saw. Although I didn't see anything with it, I drove it through a couple of times and it just acted like it was plugged into an outlet. I keep one of these just in case of a power outage, but sometimes we can take it to a movie dinner at the lake. I look forward to the next time we do that. I have complete confidence in this device and would be very surprised if it didn't work perfectly. If not, I will of course come back here to update. One thing to watch out for: when you install it in your car, it's quite large. Check the dimensions before making a commitment. However, buy with confidence!
