GIANDEL is a professional inverter supplier

So disappointed with this GIANDEL is a professional inverter supplier and I had a nightmare, I plugged in my fridge, after a few seconds an overload alarm sounded. So I thought the batteries are bad. When I bought 3 new batteries I still had the same problem, I tried another inverter, everything works fine, the problem was with this inverter.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Not in fashion

very good for the price

It is very good. They work well, I bought 2 of these for our motorhome. I love how they handle solar panels with a built in controller. My only complaint is that the 30 amp fuses are built INSIDE the unit so on rare occasions the circuit will short out or overload and the entire box will have to be taken apart to replace the fuse. It's really annoying. The fuses must be accessible from the outside. Or better yet, use circuit breakers instead of fuses. Overall I'm very satisfied, although the…

Works well in my RV

When I first bought another inverter, it blew up the first time I tried using a small 600w microwave oven. This one worked with everything I tried and the little microwave didn't blow it up, although it didn't want to work very well, at least it didn't damage the unit. It also tripped with over current protection when I plugged in a 13 amp circular saw and that tripped it but again it protected it and did no damage. Very satisfied although still new but so far so good for everything we need it…

Works Great - Jump Starters, Chargers & Portable Power Supplies

Bought for a kiosk with solar panel, battery and generator. It copes well with replacing batteries from solar panels (with a built-in charge controller) during the day and provides power to the cabin. I used a 15 amp circuit breaker on my panel so this inverter would provide good protection. a small microwave works (I don't have batteries for them), TV, DVD player and all the interior lights work with no problems (I use LED lights to keep the load down). Great product for its size. So if you…

Very satisfied! Very important.

I drive a truck for a living and it's nice to be able to quickly fire up a microwave or Foreman grill etc to cook something hot during a short break. The 2000w sine model is a bit bulky, but it fits nicely in my driver's seat. bolted to the closet. I dropped the cables (I upgraded them to 6ft 2/0 for peace of mind in a $180k truck). No problems at the moment. A beautiful product with simple connection and control functions. For such a price. It's not hard to figure out what you're getting at…

A few caveats

Works almost as expected, but a word of caution: if you plan to use this in a continuous system such as a solar panel, note that it only draws about 2 amps when on - no load connected. Consequently, you drain your batteries during periods of low solar radiation, even when the load is off, which could be a deal breaker. Also, I found some of the construction to be a bit shabby as the outlets were a little dangling and the solar ports were too small. When I overtightened the clamps, the plastic…

Good inverter suitable for tools and equipment

I was looking for an inverter to run my fridge and freezer during a power outage or evacuation. I'll tell you about my setup. I have a 12v deep cycle battery and a 300w solar panel for a battery charge controller. I cannot connect the solar panel to the inverter charge controller because the voltage is too high. 31 volts and it says you can't connect more than 18 so I was afraid to try so I just use a different charge controller. I did some test runs and on a sunny day it can run with no…

Looks very high quality

Just received this today. After inspection, I award five stars for the overall perceived quality. I bought this because we just had a power outage that lasted about four hours and when I took out the 1000w Duralast inverter I bought from Autozone about three years ago it didn't work. I've only used this POS 5 or 6 times and only low usage items like lights and TVs. There is no big surprise here. Private Label Autozone is just crap. So I did a little research online about the inverters offered…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Operation speed

Works while powering multiple LED bulbs and 2 TVs. Batteries I have 2 Sam's Club 6 volt golf carts at 84.00 each and 3 panels = 300 watts. The pros are that this is the best you can get for such a low price, which is perfect for getting started with solar, but the cons are that the charge controller can't handle more than 300W of input power. The two front plastic solar mounting areas are cheap and fell apart on a tight twist, making it very difficult to tighten the cable. I tried to find a…
