Works almost as expected, but a word of caution: if you plan to use this in a continuous system such as a solar panel, note that it only draws about 2 amps when on - no load connected. Consequently, you drain your batteries during periods of low solar radiation, even when the load is off, which could be a deal breaker. Also, I found some of the construction to be a bit shabby as the outlets were a little dangling and the solar ports were too small. When I overtightened the clamps, the plastic caps broke off in my hand - I couldn't overtighten them more than moderately, suggesting that long-term corrosion was a problem.
