Review on πŸ”Œ GIANDEL 2000W Power Inverter: Modified Wave 12V DC to 110V 120V AC with Remote Control, LED Display, Dual AC Outlets & USB Port - Perfect for RV, Truck, and Boat by Charles Notti

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's good, almost 4 stars as needed, but a few things are a big problem for me.

Works while powering multiple LED bulbs and 2 TVs. Batteries I have 2 Sam's Club 6 volt golf carts at 84.00 each and 3 panels = 300 watts. The pros are that this is the best you can get for such a low price, which is perfect for getting started with solar, but the cons are that the charge controller can't handle more than 300W of input power. The two front plastic solar mounting areas are cheap and fell apart on a tight twist, making it very difficult to tighten the cable. I tried to find a screw that would fit the thread exactly, but it was IMPOSSIBLE. 2 hardware stores, home depot couldn't find any matches for this particular thread so I spent hours just on this topic. If I decide to keep this block I will solder the wires to the block with MC4 connectors hanging from it. This modified inverter made FRY a sensitive light, if you've heard of the X10 controllers they can also turn the light on and off. dim them with the remote controls. They will not work with this inverter, they will burn out. LCD TVs are ok, phone chargers, laptops no problem. I would NOT use this with fans, microwaves, refrigerators or anything with AC motors. If anyone has experience using this product with refrigerators, please share your experience! So for me a great entry level inverter at a very reasonable price that allows me to use solar power for many things but I will need to get a whole new PURE sine wave inverter in the future as well as an MPPT charge controller when I'm ready am to expand.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
