I replaced the worn out plastic casters on our Weber Spirit Grill because we need to roll it over rough concrete and up. and every time we use it down two ramps and repeat the process to get it out. These reels made the task much easier, rolling smoothly and spinning easily. The larger diameter wheels also allow the grate to move over the sagging section of paving resulting in a 1 inch "step". However, the mounting plates were larger than the factory ones, so I had to drill out each mounting platform and figure out how to do it. for attaching fastening nuts in blind spots. If you don't need wheels that big, it would be much easier to use 3" spares that fit with Weber screws and a wiring diagram. The pan and roll movements have separate ball bearings and the locks stop any movement. They can be easily attached and detached with the sole of the shoe. Too bad I didn't do this update years ago when it became clear that the existing cutscenes weren't working properly.
