If you know what you are doing this drainage snake works great. If you don't want to take out the peg, you have to move the peg until you find a hole to put the snake in and wiggle it down a little, take out the trash, put it down some more. and do it around the fork. The negative reviews I read were obviously operator error - you can't try to stick it down a clogged drain or fight it once it's caught there. You need to deftly lift it (wiggle it back and forth and up and down) and then you'll see why your drain is clogged. Start shallow, pull the material up, and then sink deeper and deeper into the channel. I never thought that there would be so much dirt in the warehouse of previous owners. You get three of these for a good price. So if you use one, you can throw it away and still have two. A good product!
