that yellow and amber light attracts the fewest bugs. I have an LED light with motion detection behind my back door. When I let my dog loose at night, the bright white light attracted all sorts of insects within a 1/2 mile. My LED lights are 3" in diameter. These reflectors are 3 ". The foam backing peels off easily. See photo. I taped the "lens" in place for a test run a few months ago. They are still attached and do a great job of controlling the amount of bugs that get in at night my light is coming, greatly reduce. When bug season is over I will remove the masking tape and "lens". They let soft amber light onto the patio and backyard. They work like a champ!
