Review on Convenience Concepts Oxford Table Black Furniture in Accent Furniture by Nikki Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I was surprised to see that it was MDF (medium density fibreboard) on the box as the side table is heavy and appears to be very good quality wood.

As already mentioned, there is a very strong odor coming from the box. I'm very sensitive to smells so I was wondering how long it would last but luckily it dissipated within minutes. The instructions were well explained and I was able to assemble it myself in about 25 minutes. In some places, another pair of hands would come in handy, but you can do it yourself. I was surprised to see that it was MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) on the box as the side table is heavy and appears to be made from very good quality wood. If I hadn't seen it on the box I wouldn't have guessed it wasn't a real tree. Also, as mentioned, the quality control is not very good. I had a few scuffs on two of the tables but nothing that bothered me much. The main thing to note about the blue table is that IT IS NOT BLUE. I checked this chart on several different websites to try to estimate the color and on some it turned out to be dark blue, on others light blue and on others turquoise. I was actually hoping it would be turquoise as I wanted to add a vibrant color to the living room. It has arrived and is a dark teal/turquoise color which I like. I'm so sick of black, white, and wood furniture so this color is perfect for my living room, but if you legally want a blue coffee table, this isn't blue.

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
