Review on Enhanced DKMUS Dash Installation Trim Kit for BMW 3 Series M3 E46 - Single DIN Radio Stereo Panel with Improved Wiring Harness and Antenna Adapter by Rob Allen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Complete garbage. (Edit: No, it's not)

Many others have said it doesn't fit in a DIN radio. This is because it is not. I've read that someone has actually tried to shove this onto the 'sleeve' used on most radios with a DIN to mount them. no It's not like this. It doesn't fit because it doesn't fit. It MUST be trimmed and that makes it even thinner than it otherwise would be (and it's REALLY flimsy). Spend your money on something else from a reputable company. Hole. The other overlaps the other side about 1/2 inch). EDIT: Well, I have to apologize for my first review. I took, like most that the radio is installed in the same way as in an American car. That's not the case. The radio is not attached to this panel. The radio is placed in the dashboard, and then this element only surrounds the front of the radio, not its body. If it is installed around the radio case it will not fit. If just placed on the front of the radio it fits perfectly (see my second photo versus the first). Yes, this piece will work for a DIN radio. You just don't mount it like you normally would. The radio station is very reliable if this element is placed only on the front; it presses the device firmly against the rear rack mount.
