I'm learning wood carving this Covid winter - I'm a 65 year old female with arthritis. This tool is quite light, has a lot of power and battery life and is also very versatile. Not sure how to switch to a smaller orifice yet, but I'm pretty much sticking with my Kutzall flame tip and I love it. These examples are some of my first work! It took about 10 miles to cut a switch panel, a large bird house about 45 minutes and a stick tip about 15 minutes. The battery of the instrument has never been empty. I love that if you press it too hard it just stops and turns back on. I bought this so I can work with dead trees to create tree faces on my enchanted path in Firefly Forest. I love it now, but if I ever figure out how to make all the little tweaks to the tool, I envision it becoming my main tool!
