I received a canister set as a Christmas gift and was glad to upgrade my storage situation for flour, sugar, rice, and popcorn kernels, and tea. Unfortunately, the multiple canister set included 5 pieces of various sizes, not one of which had the capacity to hold a typical bag of flour. I found other items to store in these canisters and searched for matching canisters with a larger capacity. That's how I found the 77L canister options.I purchased the 103 fl oz- and 62.5 fl oz-sized pieces. The canisters are totally clear glass with no air bubbles or other visible flaws. Each of them was made with high-quality, high borosilicate glass. From what I understand, high borosilicate is better resistant to temperature changes, although this quality is not relevant for my purposes. The glass feels sturdy and durable to the touch. It *is* glass, however, so there is an innate risk of glass breakage.The lid is made of bamboo and has a rubber ring to create an airtight seal. Bamboo is a neutral color for any kitchen decor, and it is antimicrobial, lightweight, durable, and easier on the environment than other woods.The 62.5 fl oz canister is large enough to hold an entire bag of sugar (with some remaining to refill my small sugar bowl). The 103 fl oz size is allllmost big enough for a full bag of flour but not quite. I used some of the flour right away, so it worked out great.I recommend this brand of canisters, and I encourage you to do a bit of math to find the right sizes to meet your needs.
