I doubted it when I bought it but after some use I'm quite satisfied. If it weren't for the fact that they will probably last me the rest of my life, I would definitely buy them again. * My biggest concern with reusable straws was keeping them hygienic; The brush really convinced me to buy this one and I wasn't disappointed. It is easy to use and gets the job done perfectly. * No need to regularly buy bags of plastic straws - one less hassle. * The size is perfect. They're *slightly* thicker than the ones in the restaurant, but not as absurdly thick as those bubble tea straws. They're long enough for fairly tall cups, but not too long for full-size cups. * I don't taste metal. * Straws are good at heat transfer, which I didn't think about before buying. Place the straws in a cold drink and they will quickly cool to the same temperature as the drink. I can see this bothers some people, but I find the feeling quite refreshing and I miss grabbing my straw at a restaurant.
