I rarely write reviews but today I thought about it and I think this little pump deserves it. At first I saved money getting into reef farming and instead of buying big brands like Maxspect and AI Nero pumps I decided to start with something simple. Bought this pump. It's been a year and a half and it's worked the whole time, it's covered in seaweed, vermetid snails as if everything a reef aquarium can go through has grown on it and it hasn't missed a beat and has no parasitic tension to boot . I'm seeing posts on my local reef group from people finding parasitic stresses on their more expensive pumps. Running and performing non-stop for a year and a half for $14? That's great. If you need a placeholder until you can afford something premium with other features, or you don't want to make a super large investment in your first reef tank or whatever before you know what you want, it's absolutely perfect and one of the best Use of $14 I've ever made.
