It's good that the kit included equipment for attaching the ball.

I bought this to hold my 10 inch tablet that I use for off road navigation. No ball mount included so I ordered National Products RAM-B-202U Ram Marine Electronic 1" aluminum ball mount with Pinlok base, black finish. Good thing it comes with fasteners for attaching a ball mount. It looks like a sturdy bassinet, but my only concern is that it's not adjustable in width. It's also a good cradle. More than enough room for a 10" table with a drawer. Now I have to look for a bulky otter case so I can fill it. lol
