This time SRAM has really improved its performance on the rotors. The dreaded deafening whine of the Avid HS rotors has been eliminated. I've ridden these things in mud, creeks and loose dust and may have heard a few tiny squeaks under braking, but they always stop once the pads have made a few revolutions on the disc. squealing downhill, loudly announcing how scared you are and how often you hit the brakes. Combine them with the new Guide brakes and you have a phenomenal combination. Great modulation, powerful power and oh so sweet silence!
