Microphone: This camera has a built-in microphone. It's not the cleanest sound, but it's accurate. It's not sensitive enough to sit at arm's length and whisper into it, but it'll catch you speaking softly. I would say he hears as well as a person at arm's length. Conclusion: First of all it does its job. I was only able to test it with Windows 10 and Windows Vista, I couldn't find anything that made it work on my Note 9 or Jetstream box. My old Android TV recognized it, but the app market for it is rather poor. I would be willing to attribute this part to user error. If you have a laptop that doesn't have a built-in camera, it's light enough to easily mount it on a screen. If you're looking for a cheap camera for video calling or recording, this might work. Its advantage is the platform it is mounted on, as it can act as its own stand. If you want, you can throw it at the window for bird watching. The operating instructions are mostly easy to read. Easy and quick setup, light weight and 1080p resolution make it worth considering.
