Review on 6KU Scooters 3 Wheel Scooter Adjustable by Shawn Welker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Laskuta or 6KU? suitable for skates, skateboards and scooters

My 3 year old daughter watches me and her brother (Bubbie) board all the time - she even grabs our boards around the house and tries to ride - I was looking for a scooter that met the following criteria: 1. must be able to turn over the platform, not over the handlebars 2. must grow with the child 3. must be strong and stable 4. must be foldable in order to transport it in the car 5. Must have glow wheels 6. Must have at least 4 star ratings with 100+ ratings. I ordered the first one (Lascoota) which also had a seat, after purchasing it I found that it doesn't fold so I found this one and it ended up in everyone's boxes so I ordered that too. I did this to compare them. So, parents, aunts, uncles, or those buying for a child, listen up: Lascoota is like a Ferrari. Fast, slim, agile and light. Nothing to really like except that it doesn't go together. The 6KU was like a Rolls Royce, heavier, sturdier, more stable and still fast. The wheels are wider, the deck is wider, the brakes are better, and it folds. It really boiled down to this: the 6ku looks and feels better - I think it's a much better entry-level scooter - I'm returning the Lascoota tomorrow if that's any indication. They're both good but in the long run I think you get more bang for your buck and your little ones will believe in themselves quicker with 6KU - hope that helps - Enjoy, stay young and try something this year before you do always feared - life is too short!
