We live in the country. A broken belt on a front loading dryer proved to be a real headache. I tried to fix it myself and found I was over my head. I bought this belt after matching the numbers on the broken belt and saved about $70 on the belt sold by Amana. Seriously, they charged around $78 for the exact same belt! Anyway I tried to replace it myself and almost gave up because you have to take the whole dryer apart. But I found a mechanic who works from home about 10 miles away. We loaded the (partially dismantled) dryer into a pickup truck and took the guy with us. He strapped himself in right in the driveway and charged us $20. Now it's like new!
