Review on Outboard motor SEA-PRO T 5S by Micha Jwiak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

My first outboard motor. Long watched the Japanese, but because of the price bought the Chinese. Didn't regret it. Left for one season. 5 hp not much, but enough for many purposes. It always starts easily, the engine itself is light. Included extra. a 12 liter tank with a pear and a small set of tools. Pulls fine. Boat Flink 360LA. The motor leads to gliding with two people and things of 20 kilograms, while the speed is about 20 km / h. Initially, it didn't idle well. Same thing after the break. It is solved by adjusting the mixture or (temporarily) by slightly extending the suction. Also, the top cover was loosened. It’s good that I didn’t lose anything, I screwed everything and tightened it as it should, it didn’t unscrew anymore. There is a nuance of driving on gasoline from an additional tank. First you need to open the vent. holes in a separate tank and the main one, pump a little gasoline into the main tank with a pear, and then shut off the vent. opening of the main tank. Otherwise, air is pumped, not gasoline from the "canister", and the engine constantly stalls until you pump it up again with a pear. I didn't find anything in the manual about it.

Pros
  • Price, weight, equipment.
Cons
  • Requires speed adjustment, there are minor shoals.
