Description of Outboard motor SEA-PRO T 5S

The Sea-Pro T5 outboard motor is a copy of the Yamaha 5 motor and is one of the most popular in the Sea-Pro line, as well as other manufacturers. This motor is completely water-cooled, which allows it to operate in any mode for any amount of time. Liquid cooling and exhaust gas outlet to the water above the propeller make this motor quiet in operation. The presence of the switch "Forward-Neutral-Back" facilitates the operation of the motor. The Sea-Pro T5 PLA is equipped with an emergency engine switch with a safety check, as well as an adjustment of the force of rotation of the motor around the axis. Throttle control is located on the tiller, and is equipped with an adjustment of the turning force of the "gas" handle - can be fixed in a certain position, or loosened for motorcycle-type operation with a handle returning to its original position

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

I recommend to buy, for the money a good engine. maybe the yamaha works quieter and a little smoother, maybe over time the Chinese will get problems, but nothing will happen to the yamaha even after 10 years - but it costs twice as much! Let's look at its reliability. By the way, Tarpon is now written on the lid)

Pros
  • Relatively low price, good quality engine. the first one is water-cooled, it takes two 80 + 55 kilograms on an airdeck 320 with great difficulty to the glider. two 80 + 80 does not lead to the glider. so far the whole season has passed, about 10 exits to the water, of which 5 are at least 10 km. works smoothly, you can troll. the screw is strong, it hit snags a couple of times - small serifs remained.
Cons
  • of the minuses - the gas tank cap is leaking, which for some reason has ceased to twist tightly. I didn’t change the oil in the gearbox, as I was afraid to break the plug bolts, which are tightened well, VERY strongly. I will try before next season.

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I’ve been using this motor for 3 years now! I took Flink 290 for a boat. With one person on board, the motor brings it to the glis easily! Sometimes I put it on a plastic Sava boat from a Hong Kong manufacturer. up to 8 km/h. I measured it using Navigator. The total rolling time was about 100 hours and for all the time it showed itself only from the excellent side! After the break-in, I changed the oil in the gearbox and the spark plug. The oil was black and the spark plug was like new…
