I purchased this roll of tape to fit my new shower head: 3" High Pressure Shower Head - Best Pressure Boost Wall Mount Bathroom Shower Head for Low Flow Showers - Chrome. I am pleased Happy to report that the shower head is still not leaking. And it's a high pressure shower head with a really good stream. (Now I love my shower!) The band is a good width and extremely strong Teflon tapes will wear out or break at the slightest tension. This Teflon tape was hard. Apply evenly and thinly around pipe threads to create an effective seal. You may need scissors or a knife to carefully cut the tape. Or you can be a human be like me and just use your teeth :) I recommend this tape for your plumbing job.
