Extremely easy assembly. There were no instructions in the package, but the process is pretty much self-explanatory. I'd say the only downsides are the silicone insert was difficult to align with the chip so the buttons didn't click and the metal bar that goes to the battery. Only very slightly but thought I'd mention it! Put it all together and it worked great on my machine. It's been a few weeks and I'm still having trouble setting the lock button too low at times, but it works great!
