Review on BEP 701 KEY Battery Switches Replacement by Souly Buddy

I used this to cut my RV's battery power. The goal is to prevent the trailer from draining the battery when not in use. Very easy to install on the plastic battery cover. It will take several hours if you want it to look good and if you want to install it flush. I used a dremel to cut the hole. Please make sure your measurements are correct before cutting. I was in a hurry and cut a too big hole in my existing battery box and had to buy a new one. Below is a list of what you need to get started. For screws I chose 3" screws and shortened them with a dremel once everything was in place. Be sure to cut the screws AFTER you have installed the battery switch and tighten the nuts. :a. tape measure (for flush mounting hole ).2. Red Rod 3/8 in. Long 12" 4 gauge battery lead. 3. Four 10-24" x 2.5" stainless steel screws. Four #10.5 stainless steel washers. Four 10-24.6 stainless locknuts with nylon inserts. Waterproof sealant applied around the switch from the outside. That's all!
