If you're buying this set, you've got to do it with your eyes wide open: you're buying a set of 246 drill bits, made in China, for $50 (or whatever it was back then). Okay, you're not buying Dewalt or Snap On; This isn't a $1,300 drill bit set at the magic price of $50. However, it is ideal for everyday use around the house. I've used this set dozens of times and only had one bad experience; In this case I just broke down and spent $10 on a better one. If you're thinking of building a house or barn, do the right thing and spend a few hundred bucks on a higher quality kit. However, if you just need the right bit to install a light fixture or an outlet, for the price it's pretty hard to beat.
