Review on Keurig K-Duo Brewer Maintenance Kit - 3 Months Care, Regular, No Extras by Prem Robinson

I followed the instructions for the descaling solution for my Keurig K Supreme Plus that is less than 3 months old. This didn't solve the problem. I must have brewed over 20 cups as the directions said without the pod it might take 12 or more 13oz brews. I ended up posting it on YouTube and a gentleman figured out how to actually change the 'Descale' notification to 'Descale!' It used a half vinegar and half water solution and not that expensive purchase I just made to waste brewing this idiotic process as per the instructions instead of actually descaling! PRESS 12 oz and 8 oz simultaneously until center K light flashes. It takes about 6 times to filter the solution before it prompts you to add water again and the screen goes blank. Switch the device back on and the flashing descaling indicator will go out. So basically I used this expensive solution I bought by following the directions on the bottle only to find out that it never decalcified AND wasted 12+ bottles of water filling the tank. I had sold my first two models at Costco and was tired of returning them and descaling them with vinegar as customer service had recommended in the past. Many years later finally buying the latest model for Christmas with advanced technology (more pod piercing holes helping to avoid this kind of problem). The product instructions say not to use vinegar but that expensive Keurig solution with INSUFFICIENT or rather MISSING of valuable information on the solution bottle! Unbelievable! Due to all the issues in the past with my old machines I have only used bottled water on this new one. Save money, record a YouTube video of a man with a British accent, and use a vinegar and water mixture. Attached image of the YouTube video that gave me the correct instructions!
