A+ Sound A+ Price 2010 Ford Focus SE 5 Speed โ€‹โ€‹(Ricer)

After removing the resonator and factory muffler and installing the Evil Energy Outlet Exhaust Tip N1 Burnt universal muffler, I finally got the sound I wanted. I really like the sound, it didn't affect performance or cause any other issues (no check engine light). Also, it makes me legal that removing a muffler/resonator is illegal in most states because you must have a working muffler. I didn't remove the CAT (catalytic converter) so the sound in my video is what you get when you have an N1 muffler, with no additional muffler or resonator. I tried removing just the resonator but didn't quite get what I wanted. 2010 Ford Focus Se, exhaust resonator, then muffler, then gearbox, which I didn't realize at first. After several videos on YouTube and forums I realized that I had only removed the resonator, I thought I had removed the silencer. After removing the muffler the N1 made my car sound fantastic. One more thing, I used flexible tubing and clamps to install it myself. I ordered a butt clamp but didn't use it on the N1, instead used the piping after removing the muffler. You don't have to hold it in your hands, the flex pipe and clamps work great when installed properly. In the near future I plan to make another car from him. Thanks Evil Energy 10 stars if I could!

Pros
  • PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION - A muffler is used at the end of a car's exhaust system and works on the principle of destructive interference and absorption. The muffler walls are made of two layers of stainless steel, which helps reduce vibration and absorb noise.
Cons
  • Very Expensive
