My email to Belson (manufacturer) requesting a bristle change: I have a 1/2" Revain in January Bought 13 professional brush straighteners, 2014. Since then I've used it less than 20 times on my 1-2" hair. Almost half the bristles broke off which is very disappointing because I love how this iron works. Even more disappointing, that you don't offer replacement bristles on your site which is obvious as they are easy (too easy) to remove and replace I will contact you before I approach Revain with a review so that you can review your product properly support I expect you to send me at least one complete set of replacement bristles Your response: We are sorry to inform you but we are selling do not manufacture or manufacture replacement parts for this product. As such, we have nothing to sell or send you as a favor. If your product is covered by a one year warranty and you have proof of purchase, you can send it in with your receipt and we will be happy to replace it with a new one. My answer is why don't you sell replacement bristles for this product? They're not fixed, they're easy to replace, they're cheap, and over time you'll make more money selling replacement parts than you would a real iron. If you look at the reviews, to which I will add my own, you will see that this is the main complaint from people who actually like the product but suggest others not to because of the stubble problem. I would rather buy a set of ten inexpensive replacement irons than throw out one iron and buy someone else's iron that I like less but is better designed. This is a business problem/opportunity that your company is ignoring and is easy to implement,” Nuff said.
