Looks cheap but works - what I expected for the price. There were no wiring instructions in the kit, but I played around for a few minutes and this is how mine works. - The switch is off when the LED side is down. - There are 2 silver terminals - to these you connect the wires you want to switch to (plug in and unplug when the switch is toggled) and each of them can be a positive or negative wire - and the LED always works still. - The gold/brass connector must be connected to ground and is for the LED (if you don't need an LED, you don't need to use this connector). At 12V DC I measured the red LED drawing 13mA. (I haven't tried other colors.)
