I bought them to save money but they are so cheap I ended up buying better switches just to make sure what I'm using isn't burns or melts. I first used one for the backup camera on my truck. It took 3 switches to find one that actually worked (the blue one is actually white) and when the camera is on for more than a minute the switch literally feels hot. Looks cheap but works - what I expected for the price. Firstly, don't expect these switches to fit exactly into 3/4 inch hole. More on that later. The power indicator LEDs aren't working. Probably because the terminals are being pressed against the switch. (Or maybe the LEDs are defective.) The biggest problem with these *very cheap* switches is that if the lugs are too tight, they'll push the Switch. Switch clamp into the switch instead of sliding the paddle over the switch clamp. But don't you want a good tight fit for the electrical connection…
