GARBAGE! Terminals will push *in* the switch when trying to connect spade terminals

Firstly, don't expect these switches to fit exactly into 3/4 inch hole. More on that later. The power indicator LEDs aren't working. Probably because the terminals are being pressed against the switch. (Or maybe the LEDs are defective.) The biggest problem with these *very cheap* switches is that if the lugs are too tight, they'll push the Switch. Switch clamp into the switch instead of sliding the paddle over the switch clamp. But don't you want a good tight fit for the electrical connection? This happened to more than 5 out of 20. However, I was able to get some of them to work. In my application, these switches go into a 3/4" hole in the sheet metal. Hole size issues: Poor "keeper" design (don't know what else to call it), 2 tabs holding the switch hold it in place after inserting it into the hole with the tabs attached at both ends.(See image.) However if they were not attached "top" the tab could be pushed into the appropriate notch ( if formed correctly) so that the switch could easily slide into its intended 3/4" hole. The problem is that when trying to slide the switch into a the right size hole, the latches can't come out of the top position, so they often get cut by the sheet metal I'm putting the switch in. A classic tale of how you get what you pay for. Hope this helps someone. Robot LEGO
