The printed fabric does not match the colors of the online image or the image on the box lid. The chicken that was going to be embroidered in green was printed in yellow and orange. The embroidery thread has a hard time covering up the wrong colors. The other chicken, shown in yellow, was printed in green. The instructions say the thread should match the colors/symbols on the fabric, but the thread numbers and colors don't match. It only made sense to use a diagram in a package that differs from what is printed on the fabric. The diagram shows how to sew chickens embroidered in the colors that match the cover image. You should soak the project in water or rinse it to remove all dyes after you finish drawing. The colors made my eyes sting and water as I tried to start the first few stitches. I seemed to be crying and didn't stop until I removed the sheet. I have returned the item. I have been doing cross stitches for many years and have never come across a kit where the design was so wrong or caused such a reaction to dyes. Such a cute design but I was let down by the quality of the materials. Don't waste your time or money.
