Frosted glass is an unusual combination. When I buy screen protectors, they come in either glossy tempered glass or matte PET. You won't normally find both features in the same product, but I got tired of putting TWO screen protectors on a device I have, so I bought this one. It works! The screen doesn't reflect anything bright in the background, but I don't get super blurry detail in text when reading on a phone. I bought a similar screen protector for my tablet, but it blurred the text and caused my eyes a little strain. Let's see how the protection holds up when it's crack time. The setup was a challenge in terms of sheer patience, composure and luck. All they give you is glass so you have to see where it goes. Then be steady with your hands to install it properly. If you're a perfectionist and always keep your eyeball, good luck with that before the dust settles underneath before you can apply it. You increase your chances of a cleaner environment by applying it after a hot shower when the mirrors are fogging up. Once you install it, there is no turning back. You risk breaking the glass by lifting it or sucking dust under the protective film.
