Review on Filter Socks 200 Micron Aquarium by Sheila Smith

We changed our socks every 2-3 days; it wasn't always dirty, but filled. If we switch to this sock, we can actually see the sock changing color as it traps contaminants in the tank. The sock never filled up like the other and after two weeks we decided to replace it with a new one anyway; To be honest it could have been three weeks (we bought a pack of eight and pre-washed it in the washing machine as the instructions said). The protein skimmer works more efficiently and there is less deposit on the tank glass between cleanings. We are very happy with this product and recommend everyone to at least try it. We have a 72 gallon reef and refugium tank and we can definitely see the difference quality socks can make. I never thought it would improve the environment quality in the tank so much, but it is. We probably shouldn't say it, but these socks are so excellent that we see no need to buy them for a long time. An indispensable thing for Aquarius.
