Review on 🍾 Wine Bottle Double Lever Hand Corker: Perfect for Standard Wine, Belgian Beer, and Synthetic Plastic Corks - Includes 20 Count Wine Corks by Leslie Sharp

A few design flaws but functional

Many people in reviews of this abmnd complain about the rubber grips that touch the bottle. The pictures here show nice neoprene toes but what I received had clear/red tubing. I'll ignore these reviews because it's trivial to buy a lifetime supply of whistles for a few bucks to get rid of this disadvantage. My complaint is about the piston and the lack of adjustment. The lamb is about 3/4 the diameter of the nylon part that compresses the cork. This means each cork has a large round notch at the top, and since it can't center itself, it will likely be off-center and look weird. The corks provided are plastic so not that easy to ship, but real corks will do. Also, it tends to push the cork about 1/4 inch below the top of the bottle. You can stop earlier, but you can't see where you are through the bell and you have to take it. step back to try again and leaves some weird circles on the cork.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
