Aug 2018: Shackle materials have changed depending on the bus

FYI, 20/70 hasn't come with a 'hardened' black shackle since 'a few months ago'. it now has a stainless steel colored temple with "Stainless Steel" lettering. You can see the new photos on the bus website. abus 1800# said that all new 20/70 models will have a stainless steel shackle and unfortunately there is no difference between old and new model numbers. They also weren't able to provide hardness data for any of the brackets Cons: new ones stand out less because of bracket color Cons: probably better corrosion resistance vs: probably lower bracket hardness vs: not tested. dh: what else did you change? fwiw: amazon sent a new stainless steel model. Not sure if other sellers have an old hardened model but would like to know as I want one and don't know where to get it.
