Worth it! My other machine tore itself up in a just few uses- too stiff polymer clay. This one is up to the task, though I won’t stress it as badly. It cranks smoothly with the normal click and handle doesn’t fall out at every single turn. It only falls out when I’m not watching how I grab it. This is pretty normal. I had one many years ago that was the main brand then. I don’t remember the handle ever falling out. Though all recent machines seem to have this oddity.
