The Glue Gun Holder works through a small stand that holds the holster. The part that folds open and holds the footrest in place is a tiny thin plastic tab. It arrived already disassembled. That way the footrest doesn't stay in place on me. I come back and get something different as it is clearly not up to the usual quality of Sizzix products. I'm surprised they usually make a quality and reliable product. Also, this product listing contains MANY different glue gun items, so reviews can confuse the mat, the gun itself, and this holster, giving a consistent review across all the different products.
