As other reviews have noted, the anti-glare filter works by blurring highlights, making it appear as a diffuse haze in front of the image on the computer screen, rather than reflecting ambient light sources. The anti-glare filter also slightly blurs the image on the computer screen. The effect is very useful in my opinion as it makes the image much more visible on the computer screen and makes the glare much less annoying. We have two desktop computers in our family. After seeing how effective this filter was on one of them, I ordered another filter for a different computer. The product provides two ways to attach the anti-glare filter to the screen, one with adhesive strips and the other with self-adhesive edge clips. I didn't manage to get the self-adhesive edge clips to work. They ripped off the screen when I tried to put the filter in. However, the adhesive strips worked without any problems.
