The 2020 Outback semi-ribbed front rider mat fits snugly and extends beyond the accelerator pedal and hides the round knob as a protrusion at the rear and top of the accelerator lever and behind it from the full brake pedal and to the left side of the floorpan/ wall of fire. The left side of the floormat has a 2" lip most of the way to the front fire wall, tapering to 1-2" at the end. The forward lean distance from the lowest part of the floor at the firewall to the end of the firewall is about 10 inches, covering the back of the brake pedal. The right side of the mat is protected by a 3-inch vertical lip that follows the ground cone and rises up the sides. The rear front mat works great with a 2 inch vertical lip that follows the contour of the floor and extends well beyond where the mat sits. Feet can lean against the wall of fire. The rear passenger mat fits very well with the 2" edge on the door side and the 2" edge on the curve of the mat that follows the contour of the floor. The front of the rear mat extends 19 inches from the curve of the mat to a point under the front seats with a 1/4 inch lip at the end. This whole rug covers the floor perfectly and I am very happy with it. Note. Any loose material on the mats must be removed to prevent the loose material from ending up on the carpet as the mats must be removed at an angle. These floor mats are far superior to OEM floor mats that only cover the flat portion of the front seat bottom with a 1/4 inch edge.
