The product fully corresponds to the description. I really appreciate that it was well packaged and arrived safe and sound with every order. As it was intended for my reef tank, I rinsed it in tap water before soaking it in reverse osmosis water for a few days. My little fish are happy about a new hiding place. It's good to have something other than rocks in the tank and it adds something different, but it's perfectly appropriate in a reef tank. I expect that over time, like other surfaces in my reef tank, it will become covered with a combination of sponges and zoanthids. Smaller Pisces appreciate having multiple places to live, almost like a Pisces condo.
