I am SO happy with this flagpole rope.
My old 20ft rope wasn't wire core - it broke! I donated to the volunteer fire department to reinstall the new line. To connect the ends of the 5/16" wire core flagpole, use a triple fisherman's knot with 3/16" U-bolts and then wrap everything with waterproof tape. I'm so happy with it! I also love the silver color.
