I'm not sure if that's just my block, but.

Here I am halfway there. It didn't get hot and charge most of the time but when I first plugged it in and plugged in the charger it wasn't charging my MacBook so I figured it wouldn't work even though the blue light was still on. After moving it would start to charge and stay on for a while then turn off again with any movement. Then somehow not, as if there was a problem with the plug. This is a 2016 MacBook and charger so I know it's not the end of me. I emailed Satechi last night via their contact form on their page but got no response so I'll update when or if I do. It's a shame because I have a trip the day after tomorrow on Thursday and was actually planning to do it.
