I bought mine in 2017 and it's practically unusable. Although it works - sometimes - it gets very hot, which worries me about damaging my memory cards. It's also incredibly slow with transfer speeds. I get about 10x faster transfer from a much cheaper solution that I bought after the fact here from another brand. I'm going to be a bit harsh here. Sellers on Revain should be more specific in their descriptions - this is not a pass-through device. It charges my MacBook but only in one direction. I have a USB-C monitor that charges my MacBook 12 PLUS and sends a video signal directly to the monitor. This device does not transmit a video signal to my monitor. It's mostly useless (for me). I would give it three stars, but the fact that it matches the finish of my MacBook earns it a style star. This particular one has a good mix of ports, but the SD card has to be inserted upside down (not that it's impractical) and the USB stick sticks out a bit (they barely go in).
